Traveled to Japan last year and saw Fuji from the Shinkansen. Bought this model when I returned. It is infinitely more beautiful than anything I saw in Japanese souvenir shops.
I've been fascinated by Japanese aesthetics for years and this Mount Fuji model is the perfect embodiment of that. The symmetrical cone is beautifully proportioned. Brings a calm energy to my desk.
The beauty of this piece is in its simplicity. The conical form of Fuji rendered in raw concrete is elemental and powerful. Much more compelling than painted figurines.
The Fuji model is strikingly beautiful. The simple geometric cone in raw concrete is a sculptural masterpiece. Sits on my architect's desk and I receive compliments on it constantly.
Bought this for my grandmother who grew up near Fuji before immigrating. She keeps it on her nightstand. She says it reminds her of home. Beautiful and meaningful.
My partner is obsessed with Japanese culture. This Mount Fuji model was the best birthday gift I have ever given him. He placed it on his desk immediately.
