My husband just defended his PhD at MIT and this Great Dome model was the perfect gift. The neoclassical dome is rendered beautifully in concrete. He keeps it on his desk at the lab.
There's something perfect about rendering MIT's campus icon in actual concrete. It's meta and beautiful. Excellent quality, excellent concept.
